Anna Colin has always been interested in movement and staying healthy. From an early age she practiced gymnastics, later finding yoga as an adult. Shortly after completing her first teacher training Anna began teaching yoga and discovered the real learning as she saw yoga through the eyes of her students. Since that time, over 8 years ago, Anna has studied with numerous teachers taking two more teacher trainings, an Anusara Immersion, pre and post natal training, a two year Ayurvedic Practitioner program, her DONA Doula training and a course in Planatary Herbology. Anna Colin is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner graduating with honors from the College of Ayurveda in California at Mount Madonna Institute. Anna has completed over 1200 hours in Ayurvedic study including specific training in Ayurvedic Body work with Dr. Sujatha Kekada from Bali. Anna was one of the main facilitators with Trinity Yoga moving on in 2009 and becoming co-owner of Gaiatri Yoga. She currently teaches yoga classes, prenatal Teacher Trainings and runs her clinical Ayurvedic and Doula practice in Nelson BC where she lives with her husband and two beautiful children.
